Talk: Valentin Staykov
Sourcing overview
The article draws on three categories of sources:
- Primary (subject's own materials): The VS Rank website, the subject's LinkedIn profile, and the subject's X, GitHub, and Facebook accounts. These are used for factual claims about the subject's professional roles, company description, and service offerings.
- Independent platforms: The Spotify podcast episode and the BNI Industry Bulgaria Facebook post provide third-party documentation of the subject's media appearances.
- Subject-provided reference: Several personal details (birth year, birthplace, nationality, education, pre-VS Rank career history) were confirmed directly by the subject. These are cited as reference [3] in the article. No public source was located for these specific facts; the subject provided them to the publisher on 10 September 2026. We consider this acceptable for neutral biographical details that the subject is the primary authority on.
Framing decisions
Namesake disclaimer. There is a Canadian technology entrepreneur with the same name: Valentin Staykov, co-founder and CEO of Pastel (a website feedback tool), a graduate of the University of Toronto. Data aggregators have confused the two people. The article is careful to attribute only the Bulgarian SEO specialist's biography. The subject's X handle is @StaykovValentin; the handle @vstaykov belongs to the Canadian namesake.
Reception section length. VS Rank was founded in 2026 and has limited public presence. The Reception section is accordingly short. We have not padded it with commentary about the absence of coverage.
Performance claims. The article states VS Rank's service offerings and approach according to the company's own website. No independent verification of client results or ranking performance was sought or obtained; no such claims are presented as fact.
